Manufacturing Process
The process to manufacture a Powder Metallurgy Component requires element or alloy powders to be mixed and blended and then compacted to a near net shape known as a "Green Component", which later sintered in a controlled atmosphere furnace at a temperature below the melting point of the material resulting in Powder particles being metallurgically bonded which is known as Sintering.
